Steve Tinkham leverages thirteen years in energy search and professional services, with a significant focus in the upstream, commodity trading and O&G services markets. Steve joined Manhattan Resources in 2004 as General Manager over the firm’s back office professional services arm. Today, while continuing to serve as GM, he also plays a highly active role in strategic client development and search as a practice manager over Manhattan’s Middle Office (market/credit risk, fundamentals, quantitative analytics, etc.) and Back Office (finance & information technology) search practices.

Steve received his Bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1996 and began his career in search with a small boutique firm in West Houston’s Energy Corridor in 1997. He earned "Best Rookie Year" honors in the company’s 20 year history and consistently led the firm each year in new client development through 2000. In 2001, he was selected for the role of Business Development Manager for the company’s start-up Network/Infrastructure Consulting Division, and by 2003, the division secured the number 25 slot on the "Houston Business Journal’s", "Fast Tech 50". Steve lives in North Houston with his wife and son.
