Chris Schoettelkotte, Founder, President and CEO of Manhattan Resources began with a vision, a computer and a single desk (his own). Since that day in 1999, Chris' constant push towards excellence has created an organization with multiple offices and which is responsible for over 2000 placements both nationally and internationally. Chris focuses on the strategic planning, marketing and growth of the firm as well as recruiting for his clients. Chris has won top recruiting honors at the city, state, national and international levels. Starting with HAAPC & TAPC Rookie of the Year awards in 1999 he has received Top Producer awards each year from both organizations. In the Spring of 2009 Chris was invited to join the Pinnacle Society the nation’s premier consortium of the top recruiters within the search industry.

Prior to founding Manhattan Resources Chris held various leadership positions with Union Pacific, Olsten Corporation and Corporate Express. Chris is a 1990 graduate of Western Illinois University with a degree in Marketing and received his MBA (International Business & Finance) from the University of Houston's Bauer College of Business in 1998. Chris lives in Houston with his wife Tracey and son Jeffrey.
